RULES

EYE PROTECTION
Every player must have a set of protective eye-glasses / goggles / face-mask or you will NOT be aloud to play. Regular prescription glasses ARE NOT allowed.

-Goggles are the SAFEST option. They provide complete cover of your eyes and still allow great visibility, decent comfort, and great hearing. If you have problems with your goggles fogging, you can buy Mesh goggles that are made specifically for airsoft. These will not be as clear as goggles with a lens, but they will eliminate fogging. They also sell Airsoft Goggle Fans that can be switched on and off to help ventilate and prevent fogging. If you are still worried about your ears / face / teeth, but don't want to wear a face-mask, you can purchase a balaclava to protect you. ESS is a great brand to get when thinking about goggles, and offer a wide variety of inter-changeable lenses and upgrades.

-Shooting glasses offer the most comfort, but it is possible for BB's to get in from the sides and still hit you in the eyes. Believe me, we've seen it happen. Glasses also do not offer any protection to your teeth, face or ears. If you do choose to use glasses, make sure they are ANSI Z87.1 certified glasses. These will not shatter from the impact of the BBs. They offer the least protection, but the best comfort and best visibility. If you do choose these, try and pick something that covers the sides of your eyes. This will help protect you, but does not guarantee full protection like goggles. Wiley X brand glasses are great for airsoft.

-Face-Masks are the best for protecting your eyes, ears, face, and teeth, but they greatly decrease your comfort, hearing, and your ability to aim properly. This is why we suggest goggles over face masks.

HONOR CODE

-Disrespecting the Honor Code is a great way to ruin an airsoft game. The Honor Code is having the respect to call yourself out when you have been shot by another player. If you do not follow this simple code, people will talk, and you will eventually be confronted about it. If the problem persists we will end the game compleatly

-Sometimes you will not be able to feel yourself being shot because of heavy equipment and gear. This is understandable. But, you should be aware that being shot in your gear makes a distinct "popping sound." If you hear this sound, please be respectful to your fellow players and call yourself out. If you even THINK! you have heard this sound, and that you are hit, then suck it up, and call yourself out. If you don't know what this "popping sound" sounds like, then take your gear off, set it about 50 feet away, and shoot it. Remember what it sounds like, and always be aware of it while playing.

-Yes there are times, when you will neither hear nor feel yourself being shot, but this is very rare.

-There are also times when you will shoot another player, and they will not call out. It is possible they didn't hear it or feel it. DO NOT SCREAM ACROSS THE FIELD "I HIT YOU!!!! YOU'RE OUT!!" this is annoying, and wrecks the game. Simply confront them later and tell them they were not calling their hits earlier.

-Sometimes this is caused because of hoodies. Hoodies should not be worn unless you have no other choice. If you must wear a hoodie, try to get something tight fitting and thin layered. Then start saving some money for some BDU's.

FPS LIMITS
(FPS stands for feet per second and is a way of regulating how fast our airsoft weapons are shooting. These also must be followed by using the correct weight BBs. we do not require a gun FPS limit but be wise at which distance you engage from.

"No metal or aluminum BB's"

-If you are using an AEG, Then you cannot engage any player under 10-15 feet. If you sneak up to a player, and are 10-15 feet or closer, you must ask the player to surrender. If the player chooses not to surrender (which would be very unwise) a SINGLE SHOT to the back or gear/pack/vest should be used to eliminate the player. Automatic at this range is not aloud.

-If having the player surrender is not an option, knifing the other player will count as an instant kill. A tap on the shoulder can count as a knife kill. RUBBER KNIVES ARE ALLOWED! Any knife that is not rubber, is not allowed.

-If you are using a 500 FPS sniper rifle, then you can NOT engage another player under 75 feet.

FIREWORKS
There are absolutely no fireworks allowed to a match unless they are approved by The MWT. The only form of firework that is allowed is STORE BOUGHT Smoke grenades. Do not make your own and bring them along thinking that they will be allowed.

EMERGENCIES

-When someone is injured, on the field without eye protection, has entered the field without permission, or is a civilian/hunter/police officer, Call "CODE RED" to designate there is an emergency situation on the field. All firing must stop, guns set to safety, and lowered to the ground. If you have a headset, you should say "code red" over your teams radio channel/frequency, then switch channels and say it over the enemies channel/frequency. This way all players on each team will be informed of the cease fire. All players must REMAIN IN THEIR POSITIONS when the ceasefire is called until they receive orders from their team/group leader. Once all field issues have been resolved, a countdown from 20 will commence over the walkie talkies. If only your team leader has a walkie talkie, then he must count down from 20 out loud so his team can hear it.

-If you were in the middle of a firefight when code red was called, then it is important that you countdown from 20 loud enough so that each team can hear the countdown clearly. This way each teams begins fighting again simultaneously.

-If by any chance someone starts firing in the middle of a "code red" situation, it is possible they didn't hear the "code red" call. Begin Screaming "Code Red" again until the firing stops. DO NOT SHOOT BACK AT THE PLAYER.

-If a police officer is present, all guns must be SAFELY lowered and placed on the ground. Remind the cop that it is not a real weapon, and that it is an airsoft gun. DO NOT AIM AT THE COP OR ANY OTHER PLAYER AT ANY TIME. BE CAREFUL WERE YOU POINT THE BARREL. Tell the cop you are going to radio the group leader to come talk to him. Stay calm and wait for an adviser to arrive, they will be there asap. If it takes awhile for someone to get there, tell the officer he can pick the gun up off the ground and inspect it himself if he would like. Show him the BB's as well. DO NOT PICK UP THE GUN YOURSELF UNLESS HE ALLOWS YOU TO DO SO. It's important to stay calm and level headed when speaking with an officer or anyone else who is unaware of what we are doing.

PHYSICAL HEALTH

-It is recommended that each player be comfortable with their physical health. Some of our longer 36 hour operations require a great deal of stamina and strength and should not be taken lightly. Each player should make sure they are physically fit and can handle these games.

-If a participant is out of energy or gets too hot, he should pace himself and take a break. Don't be afraid to ask for a break! It's "not cool" to take someone to the hospital. Take up a defensive position and rest. The action will eventually come to the participants if they sit long enough. The game can be more physically demanding than participants may be used to or expected. Participants with heart conditions or other ailments should have a physician's OK to play.
DRINK LOTS OF WATER NO MATTER THE TIME OF YEAR

RESPECT THE LAND

There are very few places to play around here, so please don't wreck the opportunity to play there for everyone else. Players must respect the land rules. The Land rules are as follows:

1. STAY WITHIN THE BOUNDRIES
2. NO LITTERING (that means ANYTHING from water jugs to mini candy wrappers. What you bring in, must go out)
3. FOLLOW ANY OTHER SPECIFIC LAND RULES

WEAPON TRANSPORT

if you will be traviling in the eye of the public All guns must be transported in a gun case without the magazines/clips loaded. You should never leave your gun in plain sight especially when exiting or entering your vehicle to walk onto the field. We have had the police called on us in the past because of this. A civilian seeing 20 people dressed in full camoflauge with gear and mock military assault rifles will really scare them. If you can NOT afford a case, wrapping your gun in a black garbage bag will do for now. Your local Wal-mart sells decent cases, and you can find them as cheap as $8.00. So please don't be cheap, and get some kind of decent case for your rifle.
